These translucent beads are man-made but reflect the natural beauty of glass that has been churned by the sea. They have a rustic look with chipped holes, variation in size and shape and have a matte, slightly rough finish along the edge. On each side of the beads, the glass is smooth. Due to the roughness of the holes, heavy-duty stringing material is recommended.
